The entire Hospices of Hope Moldova Network is available to provide free medical and psychological assistance to Ukrainian refugees in Ocnita, Taraclia, Orhei and Soroca.
We thank the team from Soroca @Sergiu Dobrovolschi for their involvement and help in accommodating 14 refugees who arrived in Soroca. Likewise, we are proud of the team from Ocnita that offers free medical assistance at the border in Larga village.
All our teams offer absolutely free medical and psychological assistance services for people coming from Ukraine during this period.

Charity Winter Dinner is a charitable event organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova together with the British Embassy in Chisinau. The Charity Winter Dinner is an opportunity to start the winter holiday season in a pleasant atmosphere dedicated to over 200 palliative care patients that receive free home palliative care offered by the multidisciplinary teams that are part of the Hospices of Hope Moldova network and are located in Ocnita, Orhei, Taraclia and Soroca regions.
By organizing this cozy event, you will find out more about the achievements of Hospices of Hope Moldova, our future plans and also, we will raise funds for the beneficiaries who suffer from terminally-ill diseases. We firmly promote the access of all people to free palliative care services and through this event we invite you to take part in this important message that each of the patients has the equal right to live every moment with dignity and without pain, regardless of age or social status.

Today, October 30, Hospices of Hope Moldova organized the first event on wheels for all those who want to help the incurable patients through a unique charity event.
One of the main goals of this action was to raise funds for multidisciplinary teams that are part of the Hospices of Hope Moldova network and which this year exceeded the number of 3000 patient care.
"We promote the message of developing free palliative care services and support such activities to raise public awareness but also to raise funds that will allow us to further develop this area," said Lara Moraru, executive director of the organization.
The charity event brought together parents, young people and children who came on rollers and scooters, masked for Halloween, and walked a circle around the lake in Valea Morilor Park.

Today, October 17, dozens of participants ran for the development of palliative care services in the Chisinau Marathon, 2021 edition, in which Hospices of Hope Moldova traditionally participates.
Those who want to support children and adults who are in advanced stages of the disease, registered in Chisinau Marathon and participated in the race of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, 42 km or Marathon For All, in support of Run for Hope , Hospices of Hope Moldova brand event.
The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the 4 multidisciplinary teams, part of the Hospices of Hope Moldova network, in the Orhei, Soroca, Ocnita and Taraclia regions, which visit incurable patients daily and provide them with medical, psycho-emotional and social support.
Among the participants of the charity race is Caroline Tissot, director of the Swiss Cooperation Office, who ran 5 km to support the development of palliative care services in the Republic of Moldova, as well as Anthony Mauger, Director of SADE Moldova, we enjoyed help in fundraising and ran 21 km for Run for Hope.

Between September 2 and 5, 2021, the most awaited sports event of the Hospices of Hope Moldova brand took place - Hospice Bike Tour 2021. The project is dedicated to cycling lovers who want to combine sport with a cause that deserves support. Thus, this year each of the participants, in addition to the challenge of cycling over 400 km through valleys and hills, set out to collect at least EUR 500 for incurable patients in the regions of the Republic of Moldova.
Each year, the main purpose of the event is to raise funds to support the development of free palliative care services and to maintain activity within the teams that are part of the Hospices of Hope Moldova Network in the regions of Orhei, Soroca, Taraclia and Ocnita.
This year, 25 cyclists covered 440 km on the following route: Chisinau - Hancesti - Cimislia - Comrat - Taraclia - Cahul - Cantemir - Leova - Hancesti - Draguseni - Chisinau. The route was a circular one in order to reach the palliative care team from Taraclia and to come back collecting funds for the over 200 beneficiaries per month who need palliative care and are part of the Hospices of Hope Moldova network.
This year, the amount of MDL 404,794 financial donations and services / goods was collected, of which 6% were organizational expenses. The accumulated amount will be distributed proportionally to the mobile palliative teams and will cover approximately 1300 palliative visits at home.
Hospice Bike Tour is a charity event organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova, the funds collected after the event being used to maintain free palliative care services provided to people suffering from incurable diseases and / or life-limiting conditions in the regions of Ocnita, Orhei, Soroca and Taraclia.

The cyclists successfully covered the 440 km in the #HospiceBikeTour 2021. For 4 days, about 30 participants cycled from Chisinau to the south of Moldova, where they visited the palliative care team within the Hospices of Hope Moldova network located in the city. Taraclia, and the southernmost point being the city of Cahul. All participants defeated hills and valleys, walked in the rain and on roads in the construction site for 4 days, cycling about 100-130 km daily.
The youngest participant is 20 years old and has traveled 440 km with flying colors, being his first experience: “The bicycle is my daily transport that I use to go to work and I was happy to help palliative care patients in the Hospices network. of Hope Moldova in such a way ”said Ion Lungu, participant #HospiceBikeTour 2021.
The charity cycling route #HospiceBikeTour 2021 is organized annually by Hospices of Hope Moldova in order to raise funds for the development of free palliative care services.

2 days of successful #HospiceBiketour
Continue the charity cycling route Hospice Bike Tour 2021 organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova in order to raise funds for children and adults in advanced disease.
About 30 participants cycled to the south of the country, including British Ambassador to Chisinau Steven Fisher, who cycled more than 100 km to send a message of encouragement to the beneficiaries of palliative care and to support the development of these services in the Republic of Moldova. In Comrat, the cyclists were greeted by the Governor of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, who encouraged and supported the charity cycling route. Equally welcoming was the palliative care team from Taraclia, together with the local authorities, who welcomed the athletes with delicious Bulgarian snacks and a lot of good cheer.
"In 2 days, I cycled and met beautiful, brave and very welcoming people in Cimislia, Comrat, Taraclia, Cahul who made this cycling adventure even more interesting." mentioned Lara Moraru, Executive Director of Hospices of Hope Moldova.

On September 2, the charity cycling race #HospiceBikeTour was launched, through which 30 cyclists will cover 440 km through the Republic of Moldova for development of free palliative care services in the Republic of Moldova and to raise funds for palliative care patients in Taraclia, Ocnita, Soroca and Orhei.
The event is organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova and will last four days in which cyclists will go to the south of Moldova where they will visit the palliative team from Taraclia and will cover 100 km every day. Among the participants in the sixth edition were registered E.S. Steven Fisher, British Ambassador to Chisinau, E.S. Kęstutis Kudzmanas, Ambassador of Lithuania, Tatiana Cotiga, national champion in road racing in 2020 and 2021 and Anna Rodina, national runner-up in road racing in 2020 and 2021, Raluca Muntean, Regional Development Manager of Hospice of Hope UK who came from Albania to participate in the cycling race, also other professional and amateur cyclists from the Republic of Moldova, France, United States of America, Romania.
Each participant registered in the race aimed to collect 500 euros to support the development of palliative care in the Republic of Moldova. Today, August 14, 19 days before the charity cycling race, the last public training took place for the sixth edition of #HospiceBikeTour 2021, an annual sporting event that brings cyclists together for a noble cause.
At this training, amateur cyclists and professionals registered in the race, supporters of Hospices of Hope Moldova, traveled about 60 km from the headquarters of OTP Bank Moldova to the village of Bucovat and back. Those wishing to participate in the cycling race can still register for the route from September 2 to 5, 2021 and promote the development of free palliative care services for beneficiaries of the National Network "Hospices of Hope Moldova".
"Each cyclist aims to collect about 500 euros for children and adults who are terminally ill and through such events we send a message of confidence to about 200 beneficiaries who are part of our network. Each of them deserves to live every moment without pain and with dignity” mentioned Lara Moraru, the executive director of Hospices of Hope Moldova.
